Pastor Bill Johnson
Bill and Debbie Johnson and their four children moved to Pittsfield in 1988. They have served First Baptist since 1989. The Johnsons are known in the Pittsfield area for having coached soccer at all age levels for many years.

Pastor Bill is a graduate of Elim Bible Institute, and originally trained as a missionary. Until 1997 he was bi-vocational, working in management and in financial services at the same time that he was serving as a pastor. He studied at Reformed Theological Seminary and Oxford Graduate School, receiving his M. Litt. in Religion and Society Studies with an emphasis in Family Life Education. Currently he is working on a Ph.D. in ethics through Birmingham University, Birmingham, UK. He is ordained with the Christian Reformed Churches of North America, and heads a
Leadership Development Network for Classis Atlantic Northeast, as well as serving on their Church Planting and Development Board. He remains active with the Pastor Theologian Project and Free Indeed Ministries and has served on the board of Alpha New England.

In addition to pastoring and teaching at First Baptist, Bill remains involved with the community. He is frequently a speaker in schools, and at conventions, youth camps, and universities. Some of the areas he addresses are: Human Sexuality, Attachment, Christianity and Science, Worldview Studies, and Common Objections to the Christian Faith. |

| In his free time Bill enjoys long distance sea kayaking, hiking, weight training, cross country skiing, and hanging out with his grandkids. |

Felipe and his wife, Brigitte, have four children and are originally from Chile. Felipe came to Pittsfield to serve as Associate Pastor and worship leader in 2000. He has an A.A. in Biblical Studies from Florida Bible College in Kissimmee, Florida; a B.A. in Psychology from Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee; and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando, Florida. In addition to serving as leader of the praise team he also works with individual and group counseling and support group coordinator. Felipe also oversees children's choir, adult choir, drama team, and special music for the worship services.

| This spring Pastor Felipe had the opportunity to participate in the community theater "The World Goes Round," produced by the Waterville Opera House. In May he was invited by Unilit Editorial to teach several Spanish conferences in Miami on stress and anger management, as well as invitied by Expolit, an "annual meeting point where hundreds of Christians from all over the world and from different areas of ministry meet to strengthen commercial ties and brotherhood", to be a special guest singer. Pastor Felipe has recorded two Spanish albums. Information about them is available upon request. |

| Felipe also enjoys soccer and running and coaches the MCI girls' soccer team. |
